Eating disorders are complex disorders that can have serious or even fatal consequences if not treated appropriately. Eating disorders go beyond normal attitudes and behaviours surrounding food, weight management, exercise and body image. Although many of us would benefit from eating a bit less and exercising more in order improve our health and fitness, simply watching what you eat is NOT an eating disorder.
